Hey Hey...we're still working hard as hell on the album... I think it's gonna be awesome. Well, i wanted to give you guys a little heads up on the album before it hits. So here goes...

the album, much like the live show, hits with a major tidal wave song, "Armageddon". The track is brutal all the way through. Things slow down a bit on track 2, "Downpour". This song, along with it's predecessor, were two of the first songs the band wrote together. The choruses of the song are the heaviest in the song, and the verses and bridge are the melodic points. "Untitled 1" is an undisputed live favorite. The "punk" song of the album, "Untitled 1" is a happy-go-lucky track that gets the blood pumping. "Someone" proves the band's knack for writing radio-friendly songs and still rock out. "Change" is quite possibly one of the best on the record. It yields a sign of the idiocy that the band is still unsigned. "Dying" shows the abiltiy to write songs that sound totally different from any other song on the record. "Only", the piano ballad of the record, shows more heart and soul than that of almost any other song in the underground circuit. "Stupid F***er" is the political anthem of the record, true punk in it's entirety. It's an incredibly catchy song, and despite it's name, very radio friendly. "Renee" and "Downpour" are similar in the music aspects of each track, but the chorus in "Renee" hits harder than a hurricane in July. "Lullaby" is also a track that is different from any other track on the record. The only totally acoustic track on the album, "Lullaby" has even something for the children! Nursery rhyme lyrics. "Promise" is also amongst the best of the CD, and the live version of the song is even better. The album ends on a heavy note, with "Final". The track makes you want to play the album again...and again...and again...

Sevin in the Studio

Sevin has been in the studio for a long while now, so I am terribly sorry for not posting anything sooner. We've got a rough draft of what the album is going to sound like, but all four of us are perfectionists, so it's in our nature to record every song thirty million times. We're also searching for some label interests. AS few audio files will be available on this site soon so keep a look out for those. The as of yet untitled album is due out sometime in the next couple of months. We also have a new member as of the last post. Sevin welcomes bassist Dillard Woodall into the fold as our fourth member. The band wishes Kyle luck with his new band, entitled The Jerry Garcia Experience.

Back to the Future

Hey it's me... from the future... Merry Christmas... Santa dropped in and picked up a shitload of Sevin CD's for all you good little boys and girls out there... He payed dearly too... we overcharged that bastard... Anywho... We are currently working on recording our CD...It should be available for purchase at any of our shows starting next year. I am deeply sorry you have to wait until 2005 to get a copy, but things take time... Also, we plan on constantly playing shows weekend after weekend to bring in the new CD...and there won't be many more free shows, so take advantage of this while it's there!

Guitar Idol Dies...

I am very sad to report that one of my main influences, and one of metal's greatest guitarists, Dimebag Darrell, has been shot and killed. Dime was shot while playing a show, on stage, by a crazed "fan". The "fan" also shot two members of the stage crew and two audience members, who jumped in front of the bullets meant for the band. Dime was playing with his band Damageplan, but is better known for his guitar work in Pantera. He wrote some of the greatest songs ever heard: "Cowboys from Hell", "This Love", "Sandblasted Skin", "Revolution is My Name", and my favorite "Cemetery Gates"... I've loved Pantera since Elementary School and it is sad to see one of my biggest influences go... A great talent and he will be missed greatly...

Sevin's Brush with Fame

Hey Hey people! I just thought I'd let it be known that tomorrow, December 9, 2004, Sevin will hold an extensive practice session, playing for Toshi Iseda, world reknowned shred guitarist. Toshi's played with numerous rock acts, his latest including an Atlanta show where he played 2 songs with Alterbridge, composed of former members of Creed. He's best friends with Ozzy Osbournes' Zakk Wylde, Staind's Mike Mushok, and practically the whole Dream Theater band. We want to thank Toshi for taking time out of his busy schedule to listen to us play. I'll post a message on here tomorrow letting everyone know how practice went.
